SPT Protection BOR III™ is our toughest ballistic shield. Multi-hit capable and edge-to-edge protection. The design is identical to the ODEN AK47™ shield but BOR™ has a higher ballistic rating and can stop tougher threats like 7,62x51 and 5,56x45 with full velocity.
Protection Level NIJ 0108.01 Level III certified with 7,62x51 M80 and NIJ 0108.01 Special Type tested with 7,62x39 MSC, 5,56x45 SS109/M855 and 5,45x39 7N6. The shield also protects against a plethora of other rifle threats and is In-House Tested with 7,62x39 M43, 7,62x39 M67, 6,5x55 FMJ, .222 Rem, .223 Rem/5,56x45 55gr FMJ M193, 5,45x39 FMJ, shotgun slugs and many other threats.
Besides rifle threats the SPT Protection BOR™ shield protects against all common handgun and submachine calibers -including steel jacked/steel core variants like m/39B. The performance is superior to traditional ballistic shields and BOR™ can take multiple and close edge hits.
With no extra cost the shield can be equipped with velcro on the front for mounting a patch or light. Let us know what option you prefer when you make the order.
