Soft Armor Panel Shooters Cut IIIA

SPT Protection® Bulletproof lightweight soft armor panel compatible with most plate carriers made for plate size 25x30cm/10x12" or SAPI/ESAPI Medium-Large.  

Threat level IIIA. The soft armour construction layup is tested to the requirements of NIJ 0101.06 IIIA. This means protection against common handgun threats like 9mm Luger, .45 ACP, 7,65 Browning, .380 ACP, .40 S&W, .357 Magnum and many other. 

The soft armor is flexible and will fit all body types. The thickness is only ~5,4mm (0,21") which allows for very discreete use with a low profile carrier like the PC14 plate carrier. 

Can be used Stand Alone or ICW (In Conjunction With) hard armor plates. Besides increased ballistic performance the soft armor panel is also excellent for protection against Behind Armor Blunt Trauma when used with a hard armor system.

For example our high end Steel Core Body Armor plates with a soft armor panel on the body side yields extremely low backface signature in comparison with a typical ceramic stand alone plate when tested against 7,62x51 NATO.
