CIBV Cataphract Duty is a military grade body armour kit with a lasercut and IRR-safe tactical carrier and lightweight premium quality IIIA soft armor panels on the front, back and sides. Can also be equipped with 25x30cm hard armor plates front and back.
The CIBV Cataphract was developed with military needs in focus and belongs to a class of tactical vests that size wise falls between a plate carrier and full size body armor. Combines low weight with maximum user comfort.
Ballistic collar, arm protection, lower abdominal protection and lower back/butt protection is available for clients who need an increased area of protection against fragments etc.
The carrier is designed and manufactured in Europe by Templars Gear. The soft armour panels are made in Sweden by SPT Protection.
Protection level NIJ IIIA means protection against most common handgun/submachine gun calibers like 9mm, .45 ACP, .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum etc. This type of armour also offers protection against some fragments, shotguns etc.
Available in size Medium, Large and XL. Only the waist size and side armour differs between the sizes, while the front and back pieces/armour are the same. Measure your waist before ordering and take into consideration what type of clothes you plan to use under the vest. If you fall between sizes go with the bigger size.
