CIBV Cataphract Duty IIIA

CIBV Cataphract Duty™ is a tactical body armor system with an advanced lasercut and IRR-safe carrier and lightweight IIIA soft armor panels on the front, back and sides. The carrier can also be upgraded with hard armor plates on the chest and back, ballistic collar, arm protection, lower abdominal protection and lower back/butt protection. 

The CIBV Duty was developed with military needs in focus and belongs to a class of body armor that size wise falls between a plate carrier and full size body armor. Combines low weight with maximum user comfort.

Only european and american high quality materials are used in the production. The carrier is designed and manufactured in Europe by Templars Gear and the soft armor ballistic panels are made in Sweden by SPT Protection.

The armor panels have a hybrid design made of top of the line ballistic materials like Spectra ® which is 15 times stronger than steel. Premium materials ensure a high performance, low weight and a slim profile. 

Ballistic protection level NIJ IIIA (0101.06) which means protection against handgun threats up to .44 Magnum. The panels will protect against common handgun calibers like 9mm, .45 ACP, .380 ACP, .357 Magnum. .40 S&W, and also against some fragments, shotguns etc.

To get protection against rifle threats the carrier has pockets for 25x30cm hard body armor plates front and back. Click here to see our ballistic plates.

Available in size Medium, Large and XL. Only the waist size and side armour differs between the sizes, while the front and back pieces/armour are the same. Measure your waist before ordering and take into consideration what type of clothes you plan to use under the vest. If you are between sizes choose the bigger one.
